My Best Friend is FAMOUS!!!

As most of you know I have a best friend. But I really always giggle when people say the word best friend because I can't possibly imagine if they have the same friendship that Becca and I do. Best friends for almost nine years now, teaches you a lot about a person and we know each other really well. She is my greatest companion, she always feels more like a sister than a friend. Let me just brag for a moment though. As a freshmen she was accepted not only to the music program at the University of Utah, but also as a member of the U's Elite choir. Becca has established many leading roles for herself in local Salt Lake Theaters and she has even done some recording work. She is amazing. Well a few weeks ago she had the opportunity to go and audition for American Idol. She went to the auditions with her two friends Will, on the left of her and Dayna to right of Seacrest. Well they were sitting down and Ryan Seacrest walked into the arena doing all of the promotional shots that are done for AI. So as the story goes he was down a few rows from them and then went to ask the producers where he should go next. The producer's motioned for him to just pick somewhere so he walked right up to Becca's row and started to talk to them. I joke with her a lot and say that Ryan just saw a cute girl and went for it. I just wondered why she didn't ask him for his number. I Love this girl and although she is not going to be this season's American Idol, she will always be the one that I look up to and the friend that my family knows and loves. We love you Beccs.

Sister-in-Law = Best Friend

I hate hearing stories, horror stories, of my friends in laws, it is so sad. It's weird that there are so many who struggle with their in laws. For those of you who have those problems, hang in there. I love my sister in law, she is such an incredible mother, daughter, sister, wife, friend and aunt. We have the greatest relationship and we always have. Since the moment we met back in 1998 and I knew she wanted my brother we were friends and I was excited because I thought she was just the cutest ever. Then when my brother went on his mission she would come over and hang out with me, she would be interested and invested in my life and in what I was doing. Before I was sixteen she was the one who would take me driving. I love Ashley so much and today is the day we celebrate the wonderful and seemingly perfect person that she is. I have had two opportunities to live with her and take care of her kids and I couldn't ever ask for a better job. It's so funny, we can live with each other and be with each other all the time and still spend so much time talking and shopping and man can we laugh. Happy Birthday Ashley, I love you and I thank god everyday for such a wonderful sister-in-law.

Updates, Updates, Updates

Weekend Getaway with my two best friends (minus Sarah)!

Anna did not want a bridal shower, she just wanted a weekend
away with her two besties. So we took her two dinner, a show, and a hotel.
It was very much needed and really a lot of fun.

The next weekend Elyse and I went to Las Vegas to go to a natural spring
with our friends Julie and Deet. Before we headed off to Moapa we had to do
a little shopping on the Strip. This is us at the Bellagio Fountains.

This was a night out with the girls. Everyone had experienced a little sorrow
in their lives that week and I was told that I was being a little serious with work and school,
So when I came home from work the girls kidnapped me and we went to
St. George for Pedis, Shopping, and the Olive Garden. It was amazing.
