Sadee is Married and I hate the weather, gasoline, and distance.
Well my bags were packed, my tests were taken early, I had work off and everything was set so I could attend, but I didn't get to go. Here is what happened. So I flew into Salt Lake City around 3:30. Dan and Becca picked me up and because of the horrible Utah road conditions, it took us like an hour and a half to get to my parent's house. I got there, beautified myself really fast and then was on my way. But Megan Dulgarian, the third missing link in this roommate best friend trio, needed a ride because she flew from Oklahoma for the event. I was so excited to see her because I hadn't seen her in almost seven months and in our separation she had her little baby Kate and I really wasn't going to miss an opportunity to meet baby Kate.
(BTW for pictures of the absolutely breathtaking baby Kate, click on my "Megan Dulgarian" link)
I got in the car and was on my way and realized that my parents car had no gas and so I decided to stop and get some. I ran out of gas in the parking lot of the gas station and realized while sitting there that the gas station was closed. I noticed there was one across the street so I literally prayed so fervently that the car would start and it did so I could get across the street to use their gas. When I get over to the 7-11 I realized that this one looks closed as well but there are people inside, so after walking in and feeling like an idiot I can now see that neither gas station was closed but they were both out of power. And I am now crying in the gas station with my hair all curled and a nice dress on while visions of Lindsay Lohan's low budget, low quality film "Just My Luck" are racing through my head. Bad day. To make a very long story short the wedding was about an hour away from my parent's house on a good weather day. I didn't recieve assistance with the gasoline until about 7:30 and the wedding ended at nine. So I didn't see the point of racing up there to Salem if I wouldn't even get to see them. Megan got to go, she had her brother drop her off and I felt like a big jerk the entire night. And I still have never met baby Kate, sorry Megs I guess I am just gonna have to come out to Oklahoma and see you guys then.

Birthdays, Friends, and Fun!
Amy, Julie, Deet
Elyse and Amy
Today was my 24th Birthday. I had a really hard time anticipating this day but now it has come and gone and I am still here with my head held high. My friends took me out to dinner and we just basically laughed for a few hours, it was great.
Timeline of my "Celebration of Life Day" (as Sarah and Becca so affectionately wrote on my beautiful birthday flowers that they sent me because I told them we were not celebrating my birthday this year)
February 26th 2008
12:00 am - Elyse and I working vigorously on submitting my loads of homework which was a few minutes late
1:00 am - Elyse and I on a redbox run-she had Diet coke with Lime in martini glasses when we got home and my car was decorated as well as my messy bedroom...I just love her!
2:00 pm- Started a movie and both passed out with our mattresses in the living room.
12:00 pm- Elyse and I wake from our slumber
12:30 pm- we hit up the local Denny's for some grub
1:00 pm- We returned home for the Hugh Jackman flick "The Fountain" (weird movie)
-got ready and Elyse went to work
4:10 pm- "Fool's Gold" at the movie theater with me and my two favorite movie dates, some buttery popcorn and a 32 oz diet coke that I strategically hid from the movie theater staff, it's not my fault that all of the movie theaters in Southern Utah insist upon a Pepsi endorsement, do they know that I live here?
6:00 pm- returned home to get ready for dinner with friends
8:00 pm- Dinner at Chili's (the nicest restaraunt in Cedar, and it's like brand new)
10:30 pm- Hollywood Video where I got two free movies for my birthday. One scary vampire flick and Jessica Simpson's main character debut "Blonde Ambition" hey I love her and it was MY birthday
And then it was over. I have to mention Elyse in my blog and dedicate this to her. She really made the whole day special, thanks again Elyse and a big shout out to my friends and family for your calls and flowers in some cases, it meant the world to me that you care...I love You all XOXOXOXOXOXO

"Snow and I are done!"
"Snow and I are done!" Lorelei Gilmore says it best! There is an episode of Gilmore Girls in the fifth season where Lorelei praises snow at the beginning of the episode and then by the end of the episode snow and Lorelei basically "break up." This is how I feel right now. My knees and my legs are all sorts of banged up from slipping on the ice and I am so done. I am ready for spring to come when it will not be necessary to arm myself with a snow shovel and ice melt every time I go out to my car. The funniest thing to me is that I keep falling for Snow's dirty tricks. Snow and ice cohesively play dirty. It sucks. One minute they are non-existent and the next minute you are spending three hours scraping the salt, the snow, the ice, and the mud off of your car. Dirty flipping precipitation. I am so done. I apologize for my lamenting, it won't happen again.

Twilight's Complete Cast (or so they say)
This Just In. Twilight the movie is a go. My roommate showed me this website tonight and this is where I got my information (www.hisgoldeneyes.com) I am not positive, mainly because this has yet to be published on IMDB.com, but if this is right , I am excited. Ava from Grey's as Esme Cullen...that's an amazing choice. So here you go girls and you too few boys out there who like Twilight, it really is happening. Come December of this year or early next year, as some sources report, our Edward Cullen will be real in our hearts and our eyes.

Another FACS Project
“Journal writing is a voyage to the interior”
Some of the most legendary and famous works of literary art were once started as journals.
Lewis and
Charles Darwin Journal Anne Frank/Night
Autobiography: A story of events written by the person those events happened to.
Biography: A Story of events written by someone other than the person those events happened to.
The quote at the top of this page is truly inspiring. Your journal, such an intimate portrait into the person writing in it, is so incredibly important to have. A journal can be shared with others or kept confidential.
Why is it important to write in a journal?
What kinds of things would you write in a journal?
What are some alternative forms of a journal?
