The Harvest is on

I made these cookies and they were delicious. Believe it or not they only require 1 box of Spice Cake Mix, I large can of pumpkin pie filling, and one entire bag of semi-sweet Chocolate chips. They were so yummy and so easy. And now my house is all sorts of decorated for Thanksgiving. I just love this time of year.

Halloween Part 2

Next: On to the premiere party of the night. My friend Lisa lives in a darling house across town and she invited me over for a fun Halloween party. Tyree Batt went as Bat girl, the last time she could be Bat girl before she gets married and her last name changes to Jensen. And I went as a Scary Vampire Princess, in a sole effort to cure me of my undeniable fear of Vampires. I am here to say I am not cured, I was scaring myself all night.

Halloween

Halloween started with a quiet little party at my apartment with a few friends. We had so much fun. The menu included Chili, Salad, Scones, Brownies, and Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Virgin Margaritas. It was the perfect, quaint introduction to a "Spooky Tricky Night".

First things First

I am so far beyond behind I can't see it, however priorities are priorities and blogging just happens to be one of those. So my goal is to get caught up. I took Friday off of work so that I could go to Vegas but we didn't end up leaving until later so it was nice to get caught up on a few things. I got my house partially clean, all of my laundry done, made a BBQ Smokies lunch for my roommates, and I defrosted my fridge. Pretty successful day I had there on Friday. There is still plenty to do this weekend. I have had the busiest couple of weeks ever. One of my best friends, Tyree, was proposed to the day before Halloween. It was a lot of fun. I have been apart of the whole proposal process before, but not as in depth as I was with Christian and Tyree's. Christian lives about five and a half hours away from us so I was in charge of the proposal. Christian told me what he wanted and I got er' done. All in all, from the three dozen roses and the three bags of chocolate to the seemingly one hundred million candles and matches, we had a lot of fun and it really looked beautiful. It was a covert operation complete with trickery and even yes a little bit of thievery. She said yes though and on November 25th she will become Mrs. Christian Jensen. Congrats Sis, I love you more than words can say.
